Well, not actually dying maybe, but I feel like crap at the moment. Like real crap. So what happened?

Last weekend, I basically shocked my immune system too much. First of all, I took a shower and a bath with my girlfriend in the evening, with the bathroom window closed. The whole room was filled with fog, the lights were out and only a few candles provided some light. With this Dan Gibson CD and an Enigma album running, being in the bathroom felt like deep sea diving or hiding in a dark rainforest during a monsoon night. Good stuff. After leaving the deep ocean/shady jungle, we slept in my living room.. where it was relatively warm and dry. Stuffy air.

In the morning, we again took a shower. Icon Razz in Damn! Im Dying! Afterwards, we took a substantial breakfast in the kitchen. After filling myself with vast amounts of protein and carbs, we decided to visit my neighbor. We practiced some flips on his trampoline.. I practiced 540° frontflips, 900° backflips and double btwists, to be precise. Now, in my neighbor’s  garden, where the trampoline is, it was pretty cold and wet. After flip practice, I did several sets of muscle ups on a crappy high bar in my neighbor’s garden.. which can’t be considered ‘high’ at all, because it’s like 50 inches off the ground. After unsuccessfully trying to bombard my neighbor’s cunning cat with chestnuts (she clings to you and starts to purr and then she bites you), I decided to go home, humiliated by the cat’s victory. Revenge is sweet, you little bastard.

As a lot of people often ask me questions about dietary supplements and their effectiveness, I decided to write some posts providing you with basic information about some good bodybuilding supplements. By ‘good’ I mean that they’re not a complete waste of money. I’ll basically write honest, short overviews of different supplements for you. I hope these posts will help you get a better understanding of the subject, so you can decide which supplements are useful for you to reach your goals. So let’s start with the first one!

Creatine is definitely my favorite supplement so far. Creatine is a natural substance that is primarily found in meat. The human body itself produces a certain amount of creatine, because creatine helps supply energy to the muscle. Scientific studies have shown that creatine supplementation can improve maximum strength and lead to an increase in muscle mass. Creatine supplementation is especially recommended for vegetarians and vegans, who otherwise consume less creatine due to the lack of meat in their diets.
